Double Dipping - Citi Premier Pass Card

Hello and greetings from SoDak !

This is a complaint that appears to be endemic within Citibank : Double dipping credit card payments from a checking account via automatic withdrawal. Count me in as well. I can document my claim but, I can't find anyone to show my proof and I refuse to make another payment when I can show I am current for the last and the next payments due to their double dip from the checking account on the same day.

I've been to waaay too many web sites filled with complaints regarding citibank policies and procedures. WTF gives with these guys ?...besides having an outsourced credit collection based in India that you can listen as they read from a pre-scripted drone regarding your past due account ? Where do you have to call, sign on or appear to get someone to listen, review or advise you if you have a dispute with their billing process and accruing interest for disputed charges ?!? After reading through 20 to 30 posts on 4 separate sites; I'm terrified I already know what to expect.

If your doing a pay by phone it is on the Rep. that's inputing your banking info. I have found this double payment error occurs when you speak to a Rep. in a different country. It also had to do w/ Citi using 2 different systems when doing a pay by phone. So this error happens all the time, lets say you have auto pay w/ Citi Cards and you call the update you banking info, The rep. will input the new info into the new payment system and not delete your old info so an extra payment comes out of your bank.
