    My Citibank preferred thank you card is blocked for supposed fraud. The fraud dept. manager Ken operator number SLNY9 says the only way I can unblock my account is to verify a US number from a friend or relative that I live in a different country.     I have been Citigold card holder for more than 20 years. There was no annual fees incurred for the paset 20 years.     I called Citibank to ask what it would take to cash a check from my mother's estate. I was told I only needed a copy of the death certificate. I went to the branch, waited 45 minutes, and was told I needed more documents and an original death certificate. I asked the officer to write down EXACTLY what I needed.     I didn’t received my June 2014 bill, so I didn’t make any payment that month. So when I received the bill in July, I was shocked to see the late charges and the finance charges.     Every sales is so helpful when they want to make sales out of you by signing the credit card. Eventually, saying that you will receive free luggage after a month you sign up and you can choose the color as well. So I signed then the nightmare begins.     Citibank Online Bill Payment Software changed the address and zip code of my payee to some stored value that was wrong.     This morning I logged into my desktop Virtual Account Number app and got the "Delivery Options" window. I called customer support and she said it's a new security feature.     CitiBank Pre-Approved Refinance under the Obama plan is not Pre-Approved in the sense like credit card offers are Pre-Approved.
