    Hi, I was surprised on 26th June 2015, on receive a call from citi bank, saying that they are on the process of blocking the credit card, due to non payment of minimum due amount for the last month.     I feel I have been caught in a he says/she says slick conundrum that feels like a scam. I have been told by Citibank (Home Depot Division) that they sent me a statement that showed I was in arrears and owed a late fee plus finance charge.     Approximately 6 weeks ago we opened a new account at Citibank. We received our checks and proceeded to write several checks. We were then notified that our new account was frozen due to some new rules which had something to do with terrorism. They did pay the two checks that were written.     Citibank is very very poor in communications, conveying changes and consumer support. 2-3 months back bank sent me an letter saying they need some documents like my address proof.     My recent experience with Citibank has caused me financial damage and a lot of mental stress. We have been Citibank customers for about 8-10 years. Last month, Citibank filed a claim for me when my check was cashed in a fraud case. They gave me provisional credit for the amount involved in fraud and promised to send me paperwork in mail about the next steps. I never received any paperwork from them.     I have been Citigold card holder for more than 20 years. There was no annual fees incurred for the paset 20 years. But I have been shock when I received the May statement that membership been charges. I called up the customer service and been told that there is no waiver for this year for all the customer.     I called Citibank to ask what it would take to cash a check from my mother's estate. I was told I only needed a copy of the death certificate. I went to the branch, waited 45 minutes, and was told I needed more documents and an original death certificate. I asked the officer to write down EXACTLY what I needed. I got all the documents requested. I went back to the branch, waited another 45 minutes, and was told they had to fax the documents to legal.     Citibank sucks! I had a Shell and Exxon Mobil account for almost a year. I had no problems with these accounts up until recently. I used them responsibily and when I did either paid the entire balance or at the very least more than minimum. I recently applied for a Goodyear, Big O Tire and Brandsource accounts all of which I was approved for at mind you 28.99% APR.     Jan 2015 Citibank charged over $5000 to a local merchant. The merchant didn't use my name, number, security code or zip code. I called Citibank as soon as I saw the statement and was told they were closing my card, filing a fraud investigation and issuing a new card.     I had been trying to cancel my Ready Credit account via phone service as the counter service staff at Holland Branch said it is the fastest way to terminate the account which it turned out not so.     I would like to highlight the current service level and system of Malaysia Credit Card Department. My card was block since last week due to I not updated my latest income. last week I had updated my income via email but my card was still block.     We paid off the balance on our credit card based on the information that was on their website. Come to find out, Citibank bank kept us in late status because of $2 interest that had accrued, which all our other credit card companies that we work with would waive that interest fee.     I called to make a payment first automatic phone then since payment was a few days late, they transferred me, had to give all my 2 times cause the nasty woman on the phone gave me a hard time.   • Charging Fees for non usage of Card

    I was issued a Life-time Free Credit Card by Citibank, as marketed by their representative. I did not receive their APIN and after waiting for some weeks, requested them to forward the same. Non receipt of APIN deterred me from using their card as I doubted their services.     I will not accept giving my personal information to an off shore agent.. I'm banking in the USA and your call center should be handled by Americans..     I've just started out as a new Australia Citibank Plus customer with a debit visa account. In Australia i prefer to use savings rather than credit as it attracts a surcharge fee.     I had a home depot card with Citibank, a payment was missed of $55 (don't remember ever getting the statement).. I would like to complain about the customer services agent Ms Shirley who took my request on a citidollars reward/voucher on 14 December 2014 -MS voucher .I was told to expect the coupon in 2 weeks time....I called today 29 December 2014 and attended to by Mr. Murad..a pleasant agent who informed me this request was NOT logged in.
He informed me that someone would get back to me on the request and my follow up calls...I hope so as this does NOT reflect well on Citibank at all.

there was a game for citibank in one of the malls in Dubai , where you roll a ball and if it get in a circle, you would win from 100 dhs upto 500 dhs, everyone was gathering and wanted to get money, I won 200 dhs , then they told me to write my name on a paper and the amount I won , I did that , then they said they will call me in 3 days( which was the national day of UAE) , and they did not , they I sent an e-mail and after a month a guy replied , " you would get the money , if you open a bank account" , this was not stated when I played the game and the rest of the people who were gathering did not know this.

Went in to the Sears store, and asked for a payoff amount. Was given the phone to get the amount from citibank. Paid over $1400 in cash at the sears store to pay balance in full. Was sent to collection just over a month later for $15. citibank said the payment takes up to 48 hours to process. what a bunch of crap. i paid the balance i was given, at the store which name is on the card. should have been credited paid, at the time it was paid. My credit score dropped 94 points. My preapproved home loan is now no longer available to me. Citibank said they will not remove the late payment, or extra charge. I will continue to blow up citibank with my social media, until they do the right thing.

CitiBank extorted unearned low balance service charges from me by leaving my deposit account open after I withdrew my entire balance and then sent Citi a secure message that I wanted that withdrawal to close my accounts.

1.Communication failure at CITIBANK

I Faxed the report and complaint of services failure and professional failure at Citibank Abu Dhabi in United Arab Emirates to Mr Vikram Pandit at his fax numbers 001 210 357 8366 and 001 210 677 1331
But I hear nothing from Vikram Pandit or his office or local manager or my relationship manager.

I also faxed the same copy for Mr Willianm J mills who is director for middle east and I hear nothing from him or his office or from local people at Citibank.

I faxed another copy at 001 877 8882520 which the person at the directory inquiry on 1-800-285-3000 gave me first for Mr Ben S. Bernanke to fax the complaints . But hear nothing from him or his office or any body else on his behalf.

Today on 15August 09 at 12.35 to 12 .45 Abu Dhabi time when I called 001-285 -3000 and got connected to a representative from the option menu to find location “by the code” one who told his first name as Rahul did not give me your office fax number and violated my Right to information. Just 10 minutes prior to this another representative who told his name KUMAR kept me on hold for a long time and never returned to give me your office fax number .

This spells the communication failure at no where else but at the directors and chairman office levels at Citibank New York head quarters . so any one can imagine what can be the state of communication failure at Citibank smaller branches like Abu dhbai. In this branch my phone calls are never returned and if one person is not at his /her seat the other person will never take the phone and no one will answer any messages left irrespective or staff or relationship manager.

The service failure in short is that I did get redemption funds transferred to my investment account with ADCB bank for the last one half month in spite of daily chasing up the relationship manger one Mr Rajeev warier since he shows his business more than a global CEO and blames Citibank Dubai for communication failure i.e not sending him my investment details and data .

One time I visited Dubai Oud Mehta tower Citibank NRI section and one Mr Deepak Verma also a relationship manger said that he can not retrieve data from Cehhani in India and I from ruwais to Dubai 800km both ways in wane on his advice to come to dubai.

Citibank is is putting up lot of expensive fashions and styles in the office and fat salaries for staff managers and executives but not able to improve communication facilities and skills can easily be bad recipe for the bank as it is now effecting customers it will soon show up in the bank’s business.

The professional failure is that my investment has grown into minus over four years with Citibank where as with other banks and institution I have made industry average profits. My relationship manger at Citibank Abu Dhabi was not able to move my funds from equity to liquid funds and let my fund falls with crisis, where I was able to make my own controlled funds to liquid at 30 % down from the market peak.

Citibank Abu Dhabi has never sent me any communication on my fund status , market situation or advise to take any action .
At this rate of communication failure i can only think of wasting my time energy and money with Citibank and will withdraw out of it gradually.
But since my funds have not been moved to my another banks account and I have suffered on many counts for this professional failure of Citibank I want to ask you if u can do any thing needful on urgent basis then please do it and let me know .
