Home Depot Credit Card Services - Citibank cc services for Home Depot

We (my husband,Father in Law, I) went to the home depot to order a new door that leads from our dining room to the deck outside, we wanted French doors, with side lights that were operational. Sat down with someone in mill work for over 2 hours and order our doors and paid for them that day, with our Credit Card. We got the doors in November, since were in NY State and the weather is cold by then we were waiting till our other windows were getting installed to do the door, it sat in our garage till the day of install. We opened the box of the side light window and seen that is did not open at all. We called right away and told them the problem, we were told they would do what they could to fix the problem. Well they could not replace the door, with the one we wanted so they were going to give us our money back. We paid for the doors on a Credit Card in November and there was no balance on the card as of that date. They told us that Citi Card would only put the money back on the card even though they had payment for the last 8 months. No Balance on the Home Depot Credit Card at all. Now since the Card is in My husbands father name and I am POA, and had sent several copies to them each time saying they had not received it, last time sending it along with the payment for the door, which they cashed with out a problem, but still no copy of the POA was attached to the account. Funny how they can get the check in the same envelope that the POA was in.?????? Now we want the money put back into our account and the POA was faxed from the Store where we bought the door and still there is no POA on file. There customer service workers have no idea how to handle anything of this nature, and the company has not respect for the person that there doing this too, I will never buy from Home Depot Credit Card again, and I will make sure any card in my wallet is not from Citi Bank.
